Death of Beauty

Success is a bitter pill, leaving a welcoming carpet for the failure of an epic proportion. Yet something about it that can make anyone happy instantly.

It's like a person who just saw a giant white whale in a calm sea, everybody had their eyes set on the sea, but only one person got to see the majestic beauty of a whale.

The news of someone seeing a rare animal puts faith in people who are spending their lives staring into the ocean, hoping it will be their turn next time.

Conversely, people start to point fingers at fate and the world as if they are a punchline to a cruel joke. Or maybe the whale never was there, and it was a concocted plan to make people spend their life on staring at the ocean.

Soon, nihilism takes over and quickly puts any optimism to sleep.
