What matters to people?

It is the end that matters to people, even the people you love or the people who you share your own blood with, all that matters to them is the end.

Somehow human beings have this tendency to latch on to the event that happens at the end. What do I mean by the end?

You can burn on the pyre to give warmth to the people you love and admire, but any sort of minor mistake at the end will leave a remark that will outshine all the years of your flesh burning. Isn't that amazing, no matter how many bullets you took to your body, if you commit any mistake, even by accident, they will curse you down and start seeing you differently than before.

An accidental mistake of any magnitude will destroy the castle you have built for them. even if the accident is small in nature, unintentional, outside your jurisdiction, your control. When you are alive, people always judge you for your recent events, only in death, they will look at the whole picture. Maybe they will feel regret as the spotlight was always pointed at recent events when you were alive. But now that you have passed away, they will have all the time in the world to think about them when they were with you.

Nostalgic memories will help them see the person you were when you were breathing in the world. Funny, death gives some life meaning that they lost when they were alive.
