A child is born and dies

A child born into the world without knowing the idea of misery, it might know pain but it doesn't know the pain of misery. A pinch from the needle lets out a drop of blood, something so small can shake the elephant. The child sees the blood for the first time, thinking this might be it or there would be more of this in the future.

What the future holds for the child is unknown, speculative but still unknown, unpredictable. Where the child would end up, lies in the hands of its parents. As they do have the power of creating something beautiful from their hands or something more vicious. Quickly the ideas from the parents flow into the life of the child.

As the child observes the world around them, they see themselves as their shorter variation of their own parents. How parents behave, they replicate it, they try to do it to perfection. As the child will have the deepest desire of being its own parent. If the child is unfortunate, then they will create or find a father or mother figure from others.

It could be from the screen on the phone to the windows of the house. What people want, they do eventually get it or at least they craft it in the head.

On one side

Growing inside of walls will make the innocence of the child last forever, as they will seek the idea of perfection or an ideal world from the real world. They would not accept the viciousness of the real world, so they will curl back into the ideal world in their head. When they see violence being committed in the real world, they would just accept it, hoping things will differ the next time.

The next time never arrives, but the violence always does arrive in time, never any delay. The childlike mind accepts the punishment for nothing, as their brain breaks into millions of pieces that can never be put together.

On the other

Child lets go of the innocence and accepts the world as vile as it is to the people. Suddenly, the child forgoes himself  the idea of perfection, and adheres to a vile version of the life. They become a person who doesn't want to appear weak infront of others, instead they see others as an object, a commodity that can be bought and sold.

Life is not beautiful, as it is more of a meaningless charade of purposeless actions. The child slowly dives into the hedonistic behaviors and becomes a caricature beyond the wildest dream of its own parents. The child suffers, but it never figures out why it suffers, who is making the suffering.

Even drowning in the pure ocean, it feels its flesh dried up.

Even after, gobbling table full of food, it feels starvation.

Even after touching the skin of others, it feels hollow.

Even living his life, feels like it is dying every second.
