forgiveness?

What do you think about forgiveness?

Do you think it can be achieved in life? If it is, then by whom?

By the hands of the victim or some higher entity sits above us?

If they do bless us with the words of forgiveness, do you think it will be enough for us to heal our heart, rectify the errors we made in the past?

Maybe higher guilt will lead to seeking more than forgiveness, a person with lower amount of guilt will immediately grab the hands of the forgiveness to justify the actions. But what about the person with a tremendous amount of guilt?

What will he do? Is there anything above the realm of forgiveness that doesn't include the end of life. Surely, ending life will get rid of all the sins along with your body. but that sure isn't the answer, the brain tells us. The pain we inflicted upon others, will surely be in the zone of forgiveness.

It's what we were taught, the lord above forgives everyone. But we know now the god is nothing but a fragment of our imagination. So what, we tell our brain to forgive ourselves once we confess to the crime. Do we use religion as a branch to lead to forgiveness without feeling any empathy for the victim or the crime we committed.

Nobody talks about the pain, the pain we inflicted on others can't be measured in words or any form. Forgiveness may never carry anything in it strong enough to forgive anyone.

Now forgiveness from a victim that tells a far more interesting sight. As they saw the assailant as nothing more than a victim of its time and past. Which sure is true, every action we commit in any second, could have been different or better with the knowledge of the future. But we don't have access to a knowledge of the future, we must carry out the decision based on the knowledge of the present and past.

But at the end,

We live with ourselves, the assailant might have to face an unfortunate incident where he or she finds themselves on the other end of the crime. Maybe that will open them up for what they did in the past to their victim. Maybe they will know the pungent feelings of tears slowly cascading from their face.

This may act as a form of true forgiveness, facing the same amount of pain inflicted on others. Will they have enough enlightenment to forgive the perpetrators?
