There is something so evil about how a man creates a world for themselves and their loved ones. In a traditional household, where man is the breadwinner, you can sense a cloud of manipulation hanging over the family, especially over the wife. It's hard to miss, it takes only a single peek to see how big the cloud is over them.
To a naked eye, these people who are hanging off the traditional rope will have everything a man desires in his future. The layer of corruption only shows up when you start to pay interest in them, I did, and what I found was amazing but not surprising. The whole family is a well concocted giant charade created by the husband for the society.
It is common to see the ropes of tradition hanging in the family. It is also common to see the man in the family holding the rope above.
Traditional marriage has man and woman get married with the consensual agreement from both sides of the love. As the man woos the woman with gifts and showers her with material goods and wealth. The act of drawing the wife with a gift doesn't stop.
But the wife fails to realize the deeper game the husband plays in the background. It was never about giving gifts to satisfy her, but it was used as a distraction from what she held dear to her heart. Which is independence.
The sinister play here took me a long time to find out, eventually I saw it with my own peepers.
Why? Why would a husband do such a thing to a person he loves?
The answer is simple because the man is afraid, he is afraid that his wife could slip away from his fingers at any time. In the age of options that we are living in, a facade is worth more than humanity itself. So he is scared, if he doesn't shower her with gifts, she will find new ways to find joy in life.
The truest form of evil here lies in the heart of man in the traditional marriage, as they will give everything to women they want but they will never give them what they need. INDEPENDENCE, especially the right to have a job. Because once the woman has a profession, she will know the true value of all the material he buys her.
Once the woman has her independence she will have the access to buy things and find the value of them in the world. Which will lead her to seek something more than objects. The man knows, they don't have it, they don't have what the woman wants. If her wants are constrained by material wealth, then her love is achievable. Anything beyond the object is something less attainable than the moon in the sky.
Most men refuse to accept a different worldview or grow up, buying things has been the way to keep their woman distracted from herself. Not letting her have INDEPENDENCE is how the man takes complete control over their woman.
Unlike the marriage before, here consent leans on one side, on the side of the man. Once the man agrees, the earth will spin for his wife. If he says no, she has to stop moving.
